My book is Magnum Revolution, a collection showing photos taken by several different photographers during different revolutionary times from various places in the world.
Naturally, it’s kinda hard for me to take a picture during some sort of revolution (unless I had been at the inauguration or so..), but I like how the photo journalistic images capture what the subjects are simply in the midst of, while the idea of the camera’s influence on the subjects is interesting. Therefore, I chose this photo, where the guy in the white hoodie recognizes the camera and throws a hand sign.
